About

Wil WheatonIn 2011 I signed up for a challenge to read 52 books in a year.  I didn’t make it.

I was horrified.

I’ve always been a reader and I would have guessed that I read way more than 52 books a year.  Armed with failure of 2011, I signed up again in 2012 and was ready to destroy my bookshelf.  DESTROY IT WITH MY EYES!

And I did.  I finished with 54 books.  Take THAT, 2011!The Bloggess

And now it’s 2013 and time to challenge myself again.

All of this is brought to you by Cannonball Read, which is part of Pajiba.

Go to Pajiba for awesome links and articles, then check out the CBR blog from this year to learn more about the challenge, how it started, and how it’s part of kicking cancer right in the face.

You can find me on Twitter as @pyrajane where I post a lot of links about what TV shows I’m watching, if I’m playing D&D, and a ton of RTs about stuff I find interesting.

If you just want to read book stuff, a better thing would be to follow @cannonballread.  This year’s hashtag is, wait for it… #CBR5.  Crazy, right??

And if you’re looking for a new book to read, spend a few moments on the CBR participants’  blog.  We all post there and you’ll find reviews for tons of different genres.

Finally, you can also find me on Goodreads.  My reviews there are copy and pastes of my reviews here, but you can see my gigantic book shelves.  If you like what I’m reading, head over there and maybe you’ll get some more ideas.
